Shot Clock is now available for Apple Watch
Garmin shooters have had Shot Clock on their wrists for years. Now it’s Apple’s turn.
We’re pleased to announce the release of Shot Clock for Apple Watch, bringing our purpose-built shooting sports PAR timer to Apple Watch and iPhone.
This is an important milestone for Shot Clock. What began as a Garmin watch app can now go to the range on either of the world’s major smartwatch platforms.
Shot Clock on your Apple Watch
The idea behind Shot Clock has always been simple: put the timing information you need where it is most useful — on your wrist.
The new Apple Watch version brings that experience to Apple users, allowing Shot Clock to run directly on the watch while the companion iPhone app provides a larger, more intuitive interface for setup and management.
Create and edit timing sequences, DOPE Cards and Notes on your iPhone, synchronise them with your Apple Watch, and they’re ready when you head to the range.
More than an Apple Watch app
Shot Clock for iPhone is also included.
The iPhone app is the companion and management interface for Apple Watch, but it can also become a complete standalone Shot Clock PAR timer with a subscription. That means an Apple Watch isn’t required to use Shot Clock on an iPhone.
And existing Garmin users haven’t been forgotten. The iPhone app can also be used as a free companion for compatible Garmin watches, providing a much easier way to manage timing sequences, DOPE Cards and Notes before synchronising them to the watch.
Garmin started it. Apple Watch takes it further.
The arrival of Shot Clock on Apple Watch is part of a much bigger expansion of Shot Clock.
Shot Clock is now available across Garmin, Apple Watch, iPhone and Android, giving shooters more choice over where and how they use it.
