We’re reaching out to share important news regarding the future of the wristMT application on select Garmin devices. After careful consideration, we’ve made the decision to cease further development of wristMT on specific models, including Garmin Fenix 5 & 6, Forerunner 245, 645, 745, 935, and 945, as well as MARQ Adventurer, Athlete, Aviator, Captain, Commander, Driver, Expedition, Vivoactive 3, D2 Delta, and Descent.

The primary factor driving this decision is the limitation in available memory, preventing the addition of new features. While we bid farewell to future enhancements, Dugong Technology remains dedicated to providing ongoing support and addressing any bugs for wristMT on these legacy devices. wristMT will continue to be available for legacy watches on the Garmin App Store, ensuring users can still benefit from its existing features.

We believe in transparency, and it’s important for you to understand the reasons behind this decision. As technology evolves, memory limitations on these specific Garmin models have reached a point where accommodating new features becomes impractical.

For users who seek the latest innovations, we encourage exploring newer Garmin devices that offer enhanced capabilities. While wristMT on legacy platforms won’t see new features, we’re excited about the potential for innovation on newer models.
